What is usually included in the documents I need?

The job of setting the objectives is the clients after informed reflection on the pros and cons of various estate planning devices.

My job is to implement those objectives by crafting a set of documents which will realize those objectives, and to provide you with advice and assistance in getting the plan started and keeping it working. For most clients we provide the following documents for their Estate Plan:

A Revocable Living Trust

A Last Will and Testament

A Michigan Durable Power of Attorney

A Michigan Patient Advocate Designation and Living Will

A Certificate of Trust Existence and Authority (used in connection the transfer of assets into and out of the Trust)

These documents are tailored to your unique and individual needs to provide you with the best way to achieve your objectives and minimize the tax burden on your estate.
